Homes in Monterey Near the Black Horse Golf Course

Monterey, California is a beautiful place to live and home to some of the finest golf courses on California's north central coast.

A most distinguished course is the Black Horse golf course. Once a 36-hole military facility at the now defunct Ford Ord, it has been completely renovated to rival its esteemed sister course, the Bayonet. The Black Horse is presently an 18-hole public course featuring a driving range and putting green. The course measures 7,024 yards from the furthest tees making it a challenge for even the highly skilled amateur golfer.

The homes in Monterey near the course in the Seaside area have become quite affordable due to the economic conditions of housing in general across the nation. The California coastal areas have always been home to expensive, luxurious residential real estate and homes in Monterey have been no exception. But right now thanks to the current real estate market, the median sold price of homes in Monterey near the Black Horse in Monterey's Seaside area is $271,000.00.

Homes in Monterey in the Del Rey Oaks area just a little further from Seaside but still near the golf course are another fine consideration for the potential home buyer. These homes are a little pricier than those in Seaside with a median sold price of $337,000.00 making them also affordable considering the location on the California coast.

Now is a terrific time to take advantage of the current market to fulfill that dream of owning one of the beautiful homes in Monterey near the premier Black Horse golf resort. I was talking with a Mike Pannell from Nuhomesource and we were talking about golf course homes.He was saying this is such a great to deal for homes in Monterey, nearby such a nice course. Golf course homes are much more expensive generally in Texas. He did like our climate here.
