Santa Cruz Ca, a new Hampton: Santa Cruz ocean view homes for the regular and wealthy; Best Beach home cities

Santa Cruz, Ca real estate is  expensive to some, even with the price drop, though not very expensive in comparison to other beach meccas. Santa Cruz ocean view homes have a wide variety to offer. Starting with West Cliff, Santa Cruz ocean view homes- yes there are some nice ones and for about $2.5M large you get a good home. A mega home, no, the lot sizes distate that you rarely get a coastal oceanview house over 2500 square feet.

Go to Capitola. Great beach town. Capitola beach houses have some oceanviews. Here too the lot sizes dicatates that. Capitola oceanview homes on the bluff have some gorgeous ocean view. These homes generally have a tough time reaching 2000 square feet.

So do you go to Seacliff for the great California beach house? While some of the coastal bluff front homes in Seacliff are pretty, and have commanding ocean views of Capitola to Pleasure Point, they rarely get to mega in size. The surf at Pleasure Point  from these homes though, is really pretty from afar. Now if you move from the Seacliff bluffs to the Seacliff Beach... you have some posh places in Las Olas. This is the hidden place that has some really nice larger ocean front homes. Nearby you have the throwback area of Pot Belly Beach. That is a definite throwback place for the rich, but definitely not ostentatious. If you wanted to escape to the beach because you were a celebrity, this could be the place.

So what is left? Well the most obious place is the home to the longest beach in the county, Rio Del Mar Beach. Aptos beach homes front the longest continuous beach in the county. What better place to call home? People in this area stiffen when the have to pay 3 or 4 million dollars for a home, which is a relative bargain compared to Malibu or the Hamptons. The Rio Del Mar beach homes you find will generally be in the 2500-3000 square foot range, but there are some that get towards 4000 square feet in the area and in Seascape on the bluffs.

So I guess really the place for the people with big accounts for the mansions by the sea would by default gravitate to  La Selva Beach. For most locals this will be off the radar and for the out of the area clients it will only be experienced agents that can lead them to these enclaves.

Further south are some nice on the sand homes too in Pajaro Dunes. The Pajaro Dunes Beach homes are completely different from any others. The coastal bay location is very different with the slough entering, sand dunes and a very different sort of east coast feel.

So I guess if you think we could be a great beach house investment area, stop on by and look for your Ca. Coastal home and find the great beach home investment. One this is for sure, your Santa Cruz, California beach home can have many different flavors as we have a wide variety of climates and communities to earn a place in your heart. See you at the seashore. Listening to the seals, watching the dolphins and whales, brings the beauty of the sea to the heart. There are 29 miles of beach in Santa Cruz County to get your mind right, and from New Brighton to Moss Landing with 15 miles of uninterrupted running room ahead.
