 Santa Cruz homes of distinction

Santa Cruz is one of those towns that has some great homes in hidden locations. While it does not have the breadth of some of the great Carmel homes, the ones that do usually have larger lots. This home has a great tucked away setting on this hill side. It has great views and lots of character.

 This Santa Cruz Tudor has soo much charm it oozes. This is a location where you can walk to town, feel above it all, yet have a home with a nice blend of the old and new. Much of the old bathrooms original tile has been kept, which is pretty.

Bettys' Burgers Santa Cruz- In and Out Burger-who stays and who goes in the buger wars ?

I was interested to read that Capitola In and Out Burger location that had been under discussion, has been rejected by In and Out Burger. The site did not have the zoning needed evidently on Bay Avenue, near Nob Hill.

That leaves the Bettys'Burgers on 41st the nearest burger joint, but the tourists zooming by the highway will miss out on knowing they are near by. There is a certain following for In and Out, that I personally don't share, but that is neither her nor there.

So who is your choice for best burger joint?

The Santa Cruz real estate market has been getting healthier. We have been seeing alot of health in the Santa Cruz market, which has supplanted the activity level in the Watsonville real estate market. That is a good sign, though may be due to a lack of inventory to purchase in the Watsonville area. That area has been red hot for Santa Cruz county home buyers and investors.
